Stacy Birk
Pitcher Stacy Birk joined the Philadelphia Force of National Pro Fastpitch in 2007 and began her third season in 2009. The right-hander earned her first pro win in 2007 by beating the eventual league champion, Washington Glory, 3-2. She started 10 games as a rookie and won three times. She also played in left field and as a designated player.
Birk played collegiately in her home state with Illinois State. The All-Missouri Valley Conference standout graduated from ISU ranked second in saves and shutouts; third in appearances, starts and strikeouts; fourth in victories and complete games; and fifth in innings pitched. She also was sixth all-time in home runs.
