Dan Cocoziello
Dan Cocoziello
Getting in the way of 6-foot, 220-pound longstick defenseman Dan Cocoziello isn’t the smartest move. It’s intimidating just to stand next to the physical lacrosse player, let alone be guarded by him.
Cocoziello entered Major League Lacrosse in 2008 with the Denver Outlaws, the Western Conference champions, and played for the Toronto Nationals during their inaugural season in 2009. He is one of the top young defensemen in the talent-rich league.
A USILA All-American during his senior season at Princeton University, Cocoziello started every game throughout his four-year career. He was the first defenseman to be named Ivy League Rookie of the Year.
