  • All hand shields should be set up in a 3-x-3-yard alignment.
  • When trapping on the left, hit with the left shoulder. When trapping on the right, hit with the right shoulder.
  • The offensive lineman should take a 45-degree step with the inside foot into the line of scrimmage and the hole.
  • The player will keep a low level and explode through the block, kicking out the defender with the outside hand
  • His head is inside the hole between the defender and the ball carrier.
