Lou Marinelli
Lou Marinelli is the long-time head football coach at New Canaan High School in New Canaan, Conn. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Education from Springfield College, where he began his coaching career. After spending several years coaching the outside linebackers at Boston College, Marinelli took over as head coach at New Canaan High School in 1981.
After Marinelli's New Canaan squad went 13-0 and a won a state title in 2008, the Walter Camp Football Foundation named him as its coach of the year and the Connecticut Sports Writers Association chose him as its high school coach of the year for a male sport.
